Megan Jean

Voice/Beginning Bass

Megan Jean Klay has been a vocal coach and singer songwriter performing original compositions for 20 years, beginning her career in New York City’s East Village while studying theatre at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. She has released five albums and performed thousands of shows under the name Megan Jean and the KFB, and Secret Family. Her work has been featured on PBS and Heartland Network, and she has performed her original works at the Kennedy Center's Millenium Stage. In 2023 she was awarded a creativity grant by the Maryland State Arts council for her upcoming full-length album. She is currently finishing a folk album and performing with both her solo act and full band while maintaining a full roster of vocal students.
